After 16 hours of solid play now I finally unlocked the main island. Now the subway system is completely available to me, as the third island has no subway system.
Tearing my hair out last night trying to steal a car for 'Brucie', who's this fucked up steroid junkie who just keeps shouting and calling himself a WINNER. He's pretty fucking funny.
The combat system is great fun in this game, you get to hide behind almost any object in the game - and then either shooting loosely out or making darting movements out to try and target someone. There were two big missions which I did a lot of this, failed them numerous times.
I got lost on the subway system trying to change lines, ended up in uptown and then couldn't find the 'J' line (red line), and so I lost a date with LJ. When I rang him back he didn't want to know.
The views from a chopper are breathtaking, no draw distance you can see everything!
